AC Milan have announced that manager Stefano Pioli has signed a new two-year contract extension at the club until 2025.
Pioli led the Milan club to their 19th Serie A title last season.
A statement read: “AC Milan is happy to announce Stefano Pioli has extended his contract until 30 June 2025.
“Having begun this virtuous path, which led to the 2021/22 Serie A title, AC Milan and Stefano shall continue to work on this ambitious project which reflects the Club’s history and values.”
The 57-year-old was appointed by the Rossoneri in October 2019, following the sacking of Marco Giampaolo.
In his first full season, he finished second in Serie A behind Inter Milan, before winning the scudetto a year later.
The Italian who won the club’s first title in 11 years also won the Serie A coach of the year.
Milan are currently third in Serie A, six points behind league leader Napoli.
Their next game is against Salzburg at home on Wednesday, a crucial tie to determine their place in the UEFA Champions League knockout phase with a win or draw.
