Joao Pedro has signed a new contract with Watford, committing to the club until the summer of 2028.
The Brazilian, who was voted the Hornets Player of the Month for August has two goals and two assists in 9 appearances this season.
He has scored a total of 15 goals in 83 matches for the club since joining Watford from Fluminense in January 2020 after agreeing to join as a youth player in October 2018.
His first premier league goal was against Manchester United on November 20 2021, a match they won 4-1.
Joao Pedro proposed transfer to Newcastle in the summer transfer window collapsed at the signing stage and the player said on transfer deadline day that he is “very happy” and “fully committed” to the club.
