Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to first-team training at Manchester United – following talks with Erik ten Hag.
The 37-year-old Portuguese international is training for the first time with the first-team at Carrington since his suspension for refusing to come on as a substitute against Tottenham on Wednesday.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner trained alone on Friday and missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea as punishment.
United trained ahead of their Europa League match against Sherrif Tiraspol on Thursday, and Ten Hag said Ronaldo is in contention to play.
Apart from Ronaldo, Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Donny van de Beek also returned to training.
